TIRUPUR: Six National Security Guard commandos, led by inspector Subash Kumar (33), were arrested and released on their own bail after 3 hours of detention on Friday for allegedly attacking a co-passenger on the Nilagiri Express, who is a sub-inspector of Special Branch CID. According to Railway Police, the commandos were travelling to Chennai from Mettuppalayam after completing their duty at Kodanadu estate where former chief Minister Jayalalithaa is camping. Sub-inspector C. Sundararaj, who is a personal security officer of a judge, said the commandos attacked him following a wordy duel over placing the luggage.
