Fisherman drowns

A fisherman in Nochikuppam fishing hamlet on the Marina drowned on Friday.

According to the police, K. Kuppan (40), along with two others, had left for fishing on a fibre boat early on Friday. Within 45 minutes , the weather turned rough and the boat capsized. His body was washed ashore on Saturday.
