Survey conducted on services of two service stations Its results will be presented at the meeting MYSORE: A meeting on “Electricity Supply – Equity and Efficiency Issues” will be held here on June 2 by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology and the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. It will be held at the Rotary Centre on JLB Road here at 4 p.m. The results of a survey conducted in Mysore to assess the quality of electricity distribution, governance and performance of the Chamundeswari Electricity Supply Company (CESC) through a study of two service stations will be presented at the meeting, a press release said. The survey was carried out as part of a project on “An assessment of the quality of electricity distribution governance and performance in Karnataka” conducted by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology and the Department of Management Studies, IISc., Bangalore. The Mysore survey studied power distribution and supply services of Chamundipuram and Kuvempunagar service stations, with the help of a questionnaire. It involved 160 consumers of the two localities, the release added. CESC Managing Director Vijayanarasimha, consumer groups and electricity consumers will participate in the meeting.
