THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A meeting of the Industrial Relations Committee of Kuttanad held here on Saturday has decided to hike the wages of workers engaged to operate pumps. The wages of workers operating motors with one to 19 HP, 20 to 29 HP and 30 to 75 HP have been increased to Rs.130, Rs.140 and Rs.155 from the existing rates of Rs.88 and Rs.98.
