Bangalore: Shib Shankar Roy’s 92 helped East gain a 66-run first innings lead over North in a Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy inter-zonal under-19 tournament match here on Wednesday.

The scores: North 209 in 68 overs and 27 for no loss in seven overs vs East 275 in 76.4 overs (Shib Shankar Roy 92, Saurabh Tiwary 68, Sayan Mondal 43, Rishi Dhawan four for 30).

West 269 in 82.5 overs and 105 for two in 31 overs (Udit Birla 51 n.o.) vs South 119 in 62 overs (Shiv Kumar 41, K.L. Rahul 40).
