Illicit liquor seized

Bagalkot: Officials of the Department of Excise raided various establishments at Machkandi tanda on Friday and seized 45,000 litres of illicit liquor worth Rs. 25,000. They have also recovered 14 machines used to prepare the brew.

They also raided Achanur and Mugalolli tandas and seized 15,000 litres of illicit liquor, and recovered 12 machines used to produce them. — Staff Correspondent
