Monsoon hits Mumbai ahead of schedule

Mumbai: The southwest monsoon hit Mumbai before dawn on Saturday, three days ahead of schedule. The downpour turned heavy by noon, disrupting road, rail and air traffic. As the sea turned rough, the Met office issued a warning to fishermen.
