Two die in collision

PALANI: Two persons were killed on the spot and 10 others injured when the mini-van in which they were proceeding to Palghat from Madurai collided head on with a bus coming from Coimbatore to Madurai at Chatrapatti near here on Sunday. The identity of the deceased – the driver and his accomplice - were not known.

Their bodies were removed to Palani Government Hospital for post-mortem.

The injured were the passengers who travelled in the bus. The investigation is on.
