M. Krishnamurthi, a daily wage labourer:

When I applied for a new card in 2007, I was not aware of the procedure to give ‘name deletion’ certificate.

After a few months, I came to know about that I had to give the certificate and I submitted it. As I could not get a proper response about the status of my family card, I used the Right to Information Act.

I got a reply from the Civil Supplies Department in May that they had received the certificate.

I hope that I will get my family card soon.
