Damaged road

The Balavinayagar Kovil Street is unfit for plying vehicles. There are so many pits.

Adults and elderly persons find it difficult to ride bicycle or two wheelers. Sewage water is stagnating near Brindhavan Hotel.

I request the authorities concerned to repair the road immediately.

Dangerous over-bridge

The river over-bridge on Tuticorin-Tiruchendur national highways in Authoor in Tuticorin district is posing a threat to pedestrians. The over-bridge, which leads to Authoor does not have proper pavements. Moreover, many vehicles zip through the bridge and as a result pedestrians find it difficult to pass through the road. Therefore, I request the authorities concerned to look into the matter and take urgent steps to instruct motorists to go slow and also build pavements.

P. Senthil Saravana Durai,

Vazhavallan, Tuticorin District.

Park surroundings

There is a tiny beautiful park in Tiruchendur dedicated to B.R. Ambedkar. On the northern side, a sewage canal flows close to its wall. Garbage and waste always remain scattered on both sides of the canal. Pigs rummage the filth. The statue of Kamaraj remains in a state of neglect. Steps have to be taken to maintain it eat and clean.

K.K. Krishnamurthy,

Tiruchendur.
