Akash plays a fluent knock

NEW DELHI: A fluent 94 by Akash Malhotra helped Food Corporation of India (FCI) to a three-wicket victory over Collage Group in a super league match of the DDCA cricket league here.

The scores: Super league: Collage Group 221 for six in 40 overs (Ashish Sharma 53) lost to FCI 223 for seven in 34 overs (Akash Malhotra 94, Rajinder Bisht 47).

Elite division: Delhi Gymkhana 229 for nine in 40 overs (Sahan John 80, Dharmendra four for 42) bt RCN CC 180 in 33 overs (Manu Sharma 52, Sahan John five for 27).
