Unorganised workers stage dharna

VIZIANAGARAM: Unorganised workers owing allegiance to the Andhra Pradesh Federation of Trade Unions on Tuesday staged a dharna at the office of the district Collector in protest against non-implementation of minimum wages for them. APFTU district convenor Reddy Narayana Rao said the administration had remained silent in spite of clear violation of the Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 by some employers.

The trade union leader demanded that they be given appointment letters.
