Illicit liquor seized

NEW DELHI: Two hundred bottles of illicit liquor have been seized at Kalkaji here with the arrest of an alleged bootlegger. Acting on a tip-off, a police team signalled a Toyota Qualis car to stop near Madina Masjid on Tuesday morning. The driver, Mahender Singh, tried to escape but was overpowered by the police team. Two hundred liquor bottles for sale in Haryana were allegedly seized from the rear seat of the car.
