Denny George, Poojamol to lead

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Denny George Chakkanad and K.S. Poojamol will lead the State boys’ and girls’ teams respectively in the National sub-junior basketball championship to be held at Kapurthala from June 15 to 21.

The teams:

Boys: Denny George Chakkanad (capt.), Jerin Johnson, Thomas Sunny, Nivas Mohammed, P.V. Prabhash, Sibin Thomas, Bronson Bernad, Balu Babu, Sreeraj N. Nair, Tinas Thomas and Albine Babu; Coach: Krishnadas.

Girls: K.S. Poojamol (capt.), Nishi Mariam Kunjumon, S. Krishna, Rhea Jinendran, Elizabeth Paul, Anju Sree, K. Priyanka, Chippy Joshy, Kripa Mariya Sebastian, Grima Merlin Varghese, Boney M. Varghese and Premi P. Lal; Coach: Manoj Xavier. — Principal Correspondent
