MUMBAI: Thirty-one out of 35 women who appeared for the Level-1 coaching examination, conducted by the BCCI’s National Cricket Academy, have been declared successful and their roles have been defined. India captain Mithali Raj, vice-captain Jhulan Goswami, Diana Eduljee and Shanta Rangaswamy attended a meeting at the Cricket Centre here to thrash out issues relating to women’s cricket. The players discussed at length the performance of the players in last year’s tournaments. A camp would be held before the tour of England. — Special Correspondent © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
