The Hindu Trophy from today

Chennai: The annual The Hindu Trophy cricket tournament begins on Thursday, featuring 17 teams.

The day-night final will be played on June 21.

India Cements will be defending the title in this popular event for business houses, Government organisations and banks.

All the matches will be played on turf pitches, and SG tournament balls supplied by TNCA will be used for the matches.

The tournament has been delayed this time owing to the un-seasonal rain and the inaugural DLF-IPL. — Special Correspondent
