BANGALORE: Raian F. Irani will lead the Indian junior golf team that will take part in the World junior tournament at the Chukyo Golf Club Ishino Course, Toyota (near Nagoya), Japan, from June 18 to 21. Vijay Divecha will accompany the team as coach. The four Indian juniors in the squad are Amanjyot Singh, Rahul Bakshi, Seenappa Chikkarangappa and Rashid Khan. India finished runner-up to Korea in the qualifying tournament played in Malaysia. Sweden won the tournament last year. Norway was runner-up and Australia finished third. The sixteen countries playing in the tournament are Sweden, Norway, Australia, Denmark, England, Korea, India, Argentina, Colombia, America, Mexico, Guatemala, South Africa, Kenya, New Zealand and Japan (host country).
