Krishnagiri: The District Disabled and Rehabilitation Office has invited applications from persons with disabilities for providing various welfare measures under the Tamil Nadu Disabled Persons Welfare Board.

Assistance

According to a release, financial assistance will be provided to the next of kin in the event of accidental death of a person with disabilities. A sum of Rs.15,000 would be given to the next of kin in the event of natural death.

Individuals in the age group of 18 to 60 years are eligible to receive assistance under the scheme, the release says.

Persons with disabilities who have received their National Identity Cards are eligible to receive the assistance.

Applications are available at the office of the District Disabled and Rehabilitation Officer, Krishnagiri Collectorate.
