Lok Satta opposes auctioning of liquor shops

VIZIANAGARAM: The Lok Satta Party staged a novel protest at Mayuri junction appealing to people to oppose auctioning of liquor shops at enhanced rates.

In contrast to rasta-rokos and bandhs, the party cadres cleaned vehicles and handed over pamphlets to the public asking them to give a thought to their protests.

B.A. Babji, party district convener, said that leaders of the Telugu Desam Party and the Congress were making effort to form a syndicate and participate in auction.
