Kerala wins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala won the inaugural South Zone men’s cycle polo championship which concluded at Tiruvallur on Saturday.

Kerala blanked Andhra Pradesh 8-0 in the final while Tamil Nadu crushed Pondicherry 6-0 to finish third.

In the semifinals, Kerala thrashed Tamil Nadu 14-1 while Andhra Pradesh scored an easy 9-0 win over Pondicherry.
