Stalin absent at meet

CUDDALORE: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam deputy general secretary M.K. Stalin, who is also Local Administration Minister, was conspicuous by his absence at the two-day State-level conference of the women’s wing of the party that ended here on Sunday.

Though Mr. Stalin was slated to participate in the concluding session of the conference he did not come. The conference was originally scheduled for the last week of May but it was postponed by a month, to June last week.

Later, the conference was advanced to mid-June.

As per the invitation, Mr. Stalin was to deliver a speech on Sunday afternoon.
