Four kids to undergo free heart surgery

SIVAKASI: The first batch of free heart surgeries under the Chief Minister’s ‘Ilam Sirar Irudhaya Pathugappu Thittam’ will be performed on four children of Sattur block in Virudhunagar district next week. “We are the first in the State to identify beneficiaries,” claimed Sivakasi Deputy Director (Health), S. Balasubramanian.
