Elgi Equipments set up subsidiary in the Gulf

CHENNAI: Elgi Equipments has announced the opening of a subsidiary, Elgi Gulf FZE, at Sharjah Airport International Free Zone in the United Arab Emirates. V. T. Govindarajan, Director (Global Business) has said in a release that the subsidiary was a full-fledged sales and service organisation through which the company intended to offer speedy service deliveries with short lead times to customers. Elgi Gulf will initially serve the Gulf Corporation Council markets and plans to expand its presence in the Middle East region and North Africa. — Corporate Reporter
