Yes Bank increases PLR by 50 basis points

CHENNAI: Yes Bank has raised the prime lending rate by 50 basis points and hiked the fixed deposit interest rates to earn a higher return of 9.50 per cent against 9 per cent while senior citizens will earn an attractive return of 10 per cent against 9.5 per cent for a tenor of one year one day to 18 months. The rates for other maturities have also been raised by 50 basis points, says a release.
