Five nominated to Legislative Council

Bangalore: M.R. Doreswamy, an educationist who runs a chain of institutions, including the PES Institute of Technology, has been nominated to the Legislative Council.

Others who have been nominated are Minister for Minorities Welfare Mumtaz Ali Khan, noted poet and film lyricist Dodda Rangegowda, the former MP Vijay Sankeshwar and Sanskrit scholar S.R. Leela.
