Repair work on flyover begins

NEW DELHI: Repair work on a flyover near the District Centre in Janakpuri here was started by U.P. Bridge Corporation on Tuesday.

This was after municipal

officials noticed a “defect” that had developed in the construction on Monday. The bridge that was constructed in the year 2002 is under a 10-year defect liability period with the U.P. Bridge Corporation.

The traffic police were also informed to make appropriate arrangements for alternative routes to ensure uninterrupted flow of traffic.
