Power consumers attack sub-station

VIZIANAGARAM: About 50 power consumers from China Merangi (Jiyyammavalasa mandal) the native village of Minister for Forests S. Vijayarama Raju and also from Peda Merangi attacked a sub-station on Tuesday night and damaged furniture protesting against erratic power supply for the last two days.

The consumers trooped into the sub-station when officials cut power on the pretext of load relief. -Correspondent
