TRS leader to join Goud camp

HYDERABAD: V. Prakash, who resigned as general secretary of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti, expressed his desire to join the party proposed by former senior Telugu Desam leader T. Devender Goud here on Wednesday.

He announced his decision after meeting Mr. Goud at his residence and said it was aimed at strengthening the separate Telangana movement.

‘Individual decision’

Mr. Prakash clarified that it was his individual decision and that he had no intention of causing a split in the TRS.

The Andhra Pradesh Telugu Desam secretary and former president of Telangana NGOs Union, B. Swaminatham, too resigned from TDP and joined Mr. Goud’s camp.
