Kolkata: The death toll in the recent floods that ravaged West Bengal’s Purbo and Paschim Medinipur districts has gone up to 46. More than 3.4 million people have been affected. Vast areas in the two districts remain submerged and complaints of irregularities in distribution of relief materials are reaching the authorities.
