Educational loan service centre opened

VELLORE: The Project Officer of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), N. Arul Jothi Arasan inaugurated an Educational Loan Service Centre in the DRDA office at the Collectorate here on Thursday.

The centre has been set up at the instance of the Collector Dharmendra Pratap Yadav to guide the students who wanted to apply for educational loans since they were unaware of the procedures to obtain the loans. A model loan application form would be available to students who visit the centre.

According to a DRDA official, the educational loan application forms could be submitted either at the DRDA office or at the respective bank branches.

The DRDA would forward the application forms to the service area branches concerned.
