Passing out parade

The ceremonial passing out parade of the 73rd basic submarine course for officers and 72nd course for the sailors was held at the Indian Navy’s submarine training base INS Satavahana here on Friday. Admiral Superintendent of Naval Dockyard Hari Simran Singh Malhi reviewed the parade and presented the awards. Twenty-three officers and 77 sailors have passed out to join the submarines of the Eastern and Western Naval Commands. Harshad Tarate was adjudged as the Best All-round Officer and Shaiju K. and N.K. Behera were declared the Best Overall Senior and Junior Sailors respectively.
