Gary Kirsten to take a break

Karachi: India’s coach Gary Kirsten will return home to South Africa after the Asia Cup concludes here on July 6.

He wants to spend time with his ailing mother before joining the Indian team during its Sri Lankan tour from July 18.

Kirsten is likely to miss the selection meeting for the squad ahead of the series. — Principal Correspondent
