St. Joseph’s beats SRM

Chennai: Mohana and Karthika combined to give St. Joseph’s College a thumping win against SRM University in the IOB-SRM senior division volleyball league championship on a rain-affected day here on Friday. St. Joseph’s won 25-21, 25-17.

In a men’s match, Armed Police beat Chennai City Police 25-17, 25-11, 25-18. Vijay Amirthraj and Guna were outstanding for the winner.
