DK hails move to fill OBC vacancies

CHENNAI: Dravidar Kazhagam president K. Veeramani has welcomed the initiative to clear the backlog in OBC vacancies and said that the gesture showed the concern of the United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre in upholding social justice.

In a statement, he appealed to the Centre to accord priority to keep down the price level and control the inflationary trend. “It should ensure that people do not fall into the trap of religious fundamentalists.” — Special Correspondent
