Four children drown in pond

JAIPUR: Four children drowned in a village pond in Rampura, Jaitaran tehsil, in Pali district on Saturday, Superintendent of Police G.L. Sharma said.

The children, aged between 10 and 15, had left their homes for a bath in the 25-foot deep pond, Sharma said, adding police are probing the cause of death in the absence of eyewitnesses.

The bodies of two children have been fished out and a search is on for the remaining two bodies.
