Gujarat BJP rebels announce stir

Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP rebels on Saturday announced a State-wide agitation against the Narendra Modi government on the issues of price rise and corruption.

It will be led by the former Home Minister of the State, Gordhan Jhadafiya, and the former MLA from Bhavnagar, Sunil Oza.

Both of them have formed the Gujarat Jan Andolan (GJA) to expose the government.

“There is rise in discontent among the people against the Modi government. But people are afraid to protest. So we have come together under the GJA,” Mr. Jhadafiya told journalists at a seminar here for GJA workers. — PTI
