An Eco Club for the academic year 2008-09 was formed at Rahmania Higher Secondary School for Handicapped here recently. The club proposes to conduct programmes aimed at promoting eco-awareness and keeping the campus clean. Its motto is ‘We with cleanliness.’ Mohammed Rassim K.M. was elected student-secretary and Swaniha Sona A.T. joint secretary of the Club. School Principal, Muhammed Basheer K. inaugurated the club. Students honouredEMEA Higher Secondary School, Kondotty, honoured its two former students, Janish T. and Anas Mundappalam, for their achievements. Janish bagged the ninth rank in the Kerala State Medical Entrance examination and Anas was one among the two youth from India selected to attend football training in London. Anas is a player of Mumbai Football Club (Mumbai FC). InauguratedDistrict Collector A. Jayathilak inaugurated the Sadhbhavana World School here recently. The curriculum to be followed by the school was explained by Principal Nikita Tomerman. Sadhbhavana Education Foundation chairman K.P. Shamsudheen presided.
