Construction workers get identity cards

Bangalore: As many as 120 construction workers were given identity cards to utilise benefits under the provisions of Construction Workers Welfare Board at a function organised in Peenya II Stage on Sunday. The function was organised by Centre for Indian Trade Unions and Construction Workers Federation of India. The identity card will entitle workers to a series of benefits including insurance, health, educational and pension schemes. — Special Correspondent
