‘Help weavers’

BANGALORE: The weaving industry in Karnataka is on the wane and the government should make efforts to revive it, said G. Ravi, Member, All India Handloom Board, Ministry of Textiles. Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Ravi said there were only about 25 to 30 manual weaving centres in Karnataka, most of them in Davangere and Chitraduga districts. — Staff Reporter
