eSeva centres not functioning: CPI (M)

The city committee of Communist Party of India (Marxist) has demanded that the government streamline the functioning of eSeva centres. Many of the centres are not functioning for the last one week due to technical problems. In a press release, the party stated that people were fearing the prospect of their service connections being cut off owing to non-payment of bills. The CPI has threatened to launch agitation if the government fails set things in order. The party warned of an agitation if the government fails in this regard.
