APTF to stage dharnas

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Teachers’ Federation (APTF) have resolved to stage dharnas in all mandal headquarters on July 7,8 and 9 in protest against the government decision to introduce English medium in the State-run schools.

The decision was unanimously taken by the executive committee of the federation which met on Sunday. The committee members also wanted the State government to look into the issue of unified service rules for teachers across the State.
