ID cards given away to senior citizens

District Collector Shailaja Ramaiyer on Saturday handed over identity cards to senior citizens at a meeting organised by the Department of Disabled Welfare and Senior Citizens.

She favourably responded to a request made by Senior Citizens’ Welfare Association president Mukunda Rao to organise senior citizens day on October 1.

She also assured to set up a grievances cell.
