Toddler’s body found at railway station

HYDERABAD: The body of a one-year-old toddler Pradeep was found near the taxi stand at Secunderabad railway station on Saturday midnight.

Police said Pradeep’s parents – Mariamma and Sai Kumar – were from Vallapatoor village in Krishna district. The family had come to meet Mariamma’s parents. However, they made plans to rush to their native place following receipt of news of a relative’s death, but missed the train. The family were in the waiting hall to board another train when Kumar took his child out for tea.

That was the last seen of Kumar and much later taxi drivers found the boy’s body on a pavement near the taxi stand and alerted the police.
