Anganwadi workers lay siege to collectorate

Chittoor: Members of Aganwadi and Helpers’ Association district unit led by Hemalatha, State secretary, and supported by CITU district secretary Harinadha Reddy laid siege to the collectorate here on Monday protesting against the government’s indifferent attitude in solving their demands. They criticised authorities for failing to sanction house sides to them as per the G.O. 7. They also criticised the officials for not paying monthly salaries to them regularly and not enhancing their salary.
