Varsity invites applications for instant examination

TIRUCHI: The Bharathidasan University has invited applications from candidates who had failed in just one paper of the final semester examination and intend to appear for instant examination so as to qualify themselves to join the higher studies in the academic year 2008-09 itself.

The application forms could be obtained from the College where the candidate had undergone the course.

Test dates

Filled-in applications should be forwarded to the Controller of Examinations through the Principal within a week from the date of result publication.

The instant examination for B.Com students will be held on July 5; for B.A. & B.B.A students on July 9 and for B.Sc. & B.C.A students on July 12 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Palkalaiperur campus. The instant examination is not applicable for the final semester project work of M.C.A, M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc. I.T courses.

Fees

The examination fee of Rs.900 should be paid by demand draft and drawn in favour of “Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli” and enclosed with the application.

The date of examination will be intimated to the Principal.

Hall tickets will be issued on the date of examination at the examination hall at Palkalaiperur campus on producing the identity card issued by the Principal.

The results will be declared within five days after the Instant Examinations, a press release from K. Raju, Controller of Examinations, Bharathidasan University said.
