Seat allotment in IITs

CHENNAI: Seat allotment of students admitted to the Indian Institutes of Technology were published on their websites on Monday. This follows the counselling sessions for the students, which ended on June 21. The website hosted at IIT-Madras is http://jee.iitm.ac.in.

Over 6,600 seats are available in all the branches in the different IITs, IT-BHU and ISMU Dhanbad. Eight new IITs will function from this year. This is also the first time reservation for OBCs has been provided in the IITs. — Special Correspondent
