Anil is champion

MYSORE: Both K.A. Anil Kumar and Pramod Kurien carded five-over 75 but the former’s better back-nine, helped him to clinch the Stroke Play Gross (0-18) title in the HSBC Open Golf tournament played at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf course here on Sunday.

The results: Stroke Play Gross (0-18): 1. K.A. Anil Kumar (75 gross); 2. Promod Kurien (75 gross).
