Rajesh stars for IOB ‘A’

Chennai: Rajesh’s five-wicket haul was instrumental in bowling SBM (Bangalore) out for 98 and taking IOB ‘A’ into the Super League of the ICICI-YSCA Trophy with a 52-run win here on Tuesday. S. Arvind’s five for 38 went in vain.

IOC (Mumbai) and Chemplast Sanmar have also progressed to the Super League.

The scores: IOB ‘A’ 150 in 29.2 overs (S. Arvind five for 38) bt SBM (Bangalore) 98 in 22 overs (Rajesh five for 28); IOC (Mumbai) 174 for eight in 30 overs bt Cordiant CC 132 for eight in 30 overs; Magnet CC 64 in 25.3 overs lost to Chemplast Sanmar 67 for two in 15.2 overs (Huzefa M. Patel 40).
