EU clears Nokia’s buy of digital map maker Navteq

Nokia, the world’s largest mobile phone maker, received clearance from the European Commission on Wednesday to buy the U.S.-based digital map supplier Navteq. The $8.1 billion transaction would give Nokia a stronghold in the navigation business.
