Port workers’ stir

KOCHI: Port and dock workers, pressing their demand for the immediate implementation of the agreement between Indian Ports’ Association and workers’ unions, have served a notice for a nationwide strike from July 16. In Kochi, the notice was served on the Port Trust management on Tuesday by representatives of the seven trade unions, said spokesman for the Cochin Port Staff Association here. — Staff Reporter
